Upon Platform Launch:

  • Financial Information: bank account details, payment history, invoice data, and transaction records
  • Professional Information: skills, work experience, portfolio links, and client relationships to support talent sourcing features
  • Communication Data: emails, support tickets, and feedback you provide

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Service Delivery: processing cross-border payments, generating invoices, issuing FIRA certificates, and managing your account
  • Regulatory Compliance: meeting KYC, AML, FEMA, and RBI requirements for cross-border transactions
  • Talent Sourcing: connecting freelancers with startup opportunities based on professional profiles and skills, where you have opted in
  • Communication: sending service updates, payment notifications, and relevant product information
  • Product Recommendations: using your account data and service usage to suggest relevant FaiirPe services and features, such as EOR services, compliance automation tools, and career opportunities
  • Improvement: analysing usage patterns to improve our platform, features, and user experience

3. Legal Basis for Processing

  • Consent: when you voluntarily provide your information (e.g., joining the waitlist, opting into talent sourcing)
  • Contract: when processing is necessary to fulfil our service agreement with you

  • Legitimate Interest: when processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention and service improvement

  • Payment Processors & Banking Partners: including Xflow Pay, our primary payment processing partner, and other RBI-authorized partners who facilitate your cross-border transactions. These partners process your identity, financial, and transaction data as necessary to provide payment services
  • Compliance & Regulatory Bodies: when required by law, regulation, or legal process
  • Talent Sourcing Partners: startups and companies seeking freelance talent — only with your explicit consent and limited to professional profile information
  • Service Providers: third-party vendors who assist with hosting, analytics, and customer support, bound by confidentiality agreements

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. Financial transaction records are retained for a minimum of 8 years as required by Indian tax and regulatory laws. Waitlist data is retained until you request removal or the waitlist period ends.
